Mary McFate and Why the NRA is not Paranoid
The left-wing magazine, Mother Jones, recently outed Mary McFate as a mole working for the NRA to infiltrate anti-gun groups. It appears to be true. It also appears to be completely legal.
The gang over at the Buckeye Firearms Association made a very interesting point on this: when the NRA says the real goal of "gun violence prevention" groups is to ban guns not reduce gun violence, it isn't paranoia. Mary McFate was privy to their inner workings, discussions and dreams. She was in a position to tell the NRA exactly what was really going on.
I would add that it pretty much validates the NRA's decision to infiltrate these anti civil rights groups in the first place.
