To the surprise of no one the New York Times has editorialized again in favor of raising taxes on corporations. They complain that a recent GAO report indicates that about two-thirds of all U.S. corporations generally don't pay corporate income taxes.

There's a good piece in today's WSJ on the dangers of over protecting kids. Keeping kids overly protected not only prevents them from learning about taking reasonable risks (and building a little toughness) it also makes them just plain fat. No bumps, no bruises, no fun and no exercise either.
