Arrested for Wearing McCain Shirt?
A man appears to have arrested for wearing a McCain/Palin shirt in Center City Philadelphia at an impromptu Obama victory rally. It’s unclear why he was there but at one point he tells police his car is parked on the other side of the crowd so it’s entirely possible he wandered into the celebration en route to it.
My initial reaction when I heard about this was that the police might have been trying to protect him but the video does not seem to support that. They are very aggressive and rough with him, not the actions of people trying to protect someone. As tempting as it is to blame the left for trying to stifle dissent, I am not convinced that’s the case here. More likely this one is on the police only.
