In my ongoing attempt to seriously depress every person out there who loves freedom and prosperity, here is the updated tab for all of your money the government is pissing away. The CBO has estimated that the real cost of the stimulus plan is closer to $3.2 trillion.
That’s because nobody believes that the money that’s going into existing social programs is going to be cut after this money is spent. Just imagine the pork-pigs squeal when you try to restore Head Start or LIHEAP back to its normal funding levels.

Spread that out over 90 million people with federal tax liabilities and the bill comes out to about $55,556 per person. As always that’s without interest and is in addition to your current local, state and federal taxes.
