Islam…Just Like Other Religions
One of the Inqy’s resident apologists for all things inexcusable published a post-Fort Hood column attempting to portray a softer side of Islam. In it, the God of Islam is described as one of love and peace, no different from our God.
That’s right, Islam, which translates as “submission”, is just like other religions. The news is filled with Jewish suicide bombers, Christians setting off car bombs for Christ, Hindu women flogged for not being veiled, Buddhist women murdered by their families as a matter of “honor” not to mention all the homosexuals executed by the Sikhs.
And don’t forget all those other faiths that divide the world into their part, the House of Submission, and the rest, called the House of War. Of course, most religions are well known to create a second class status for non-believers under their jurisdiction who submit to special rules, restrictions and taxes.
Not convinced? Think maybe, just maybe, Islam isn’t quite the same as your religion? The left thinks the problem is you, not Islam.
