Obama’s Whole Campaign Was a Lie: Transparency Edition
To the ever-growing list of things where the Obama administration is the polar opposite of his campaign we can add this: his administration has declined more Freedom of Information requests in 2009 than the Bush administration did in 2008 despite an 11% decline in requests for 2009. Obama, of course, campaigned on being Mr. Transparency.
From the moderate image he projected, to healthcare negotiations on C-SPAN to posting bills for 5 days before signing them and much, much more Obama the Reality has been a reversal of Obama the Campaign. Dare I point out that some of us thought this outcome was never in doubt?
Fortunately, the cavalry is coming in November. We just need to circle the wagons and hold our ground until then.

President Barak Obama is most certainly “Mr. Transparency”… polls increasingly demonstrate that somewhere between 2/3 and 3/4 of the American people can see right through him.
